The TV turns off and on in a loop

Hello,
my Samsung LED TV UE46D5700 (2011) turns on and off in a loop.
I removed the batteries from the remote control, it's the same.
I put in new batteries, same problem.
I turned off the TV for 5 minutes and restarted it without batteries in the remote, same issue... the same with the batteries back in.
What should I do?
Any advice would be welcome, thank you in advance.
I tried with another Samsung remote that worked before, same problem.

It seems that this issue is common with this model. The easiest solution, if it's not a hardware failure, is to unplug it, press the On/Off button several times if there is one, or wait a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning the TV on.
