No sound on LG TV but picture.

Hello,
There was a thunderstorm last week and since then my LG TV 50PQ2000 shows no signal on both HDMI ports at the back, and when I plug in the side port, I get the picture but no sound.
Can someone tell me how to fix this issue and if my TV is damaged?

It would be necessary to check with a quote, beforehand, from an authorized repairer.

If it’s connected to a box or satellite, it’s that which has burnt out.Try connecting it to the roof antenna, you should have both picture and sound.
If so, that confirms the box or satellite decoder is faulty.

Thank you very much for your response. To answer your question, when I plug my Fire TV or my satellite decoder into the HDMI 3 port, I have video but no sound.
The decoder and the Fire TV work perfectly on my other TV.
I can't connect to my aerial antenna because I don't have one.
I think the problem lies with the TV, not with what I use to receive the TV.
