Hello, When I try to configure the TNT channels on my LG TV, I am asked for a secret code ..?... I have tried 0000, 1234, 1111, 9999 as well as suggested in the manual..... and the message "wrong code" appears every time.... Can someone help me? Thank you Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.16

Hello,
Normally, you can find a unlock code in your TV's manual; have you tried it? If you can't find it in your paper manual, check the one on the provided CD.
If this TV is under warranty, you can also contact customer service.

Since January... apparently you've had time to change this code and forget it... in the options you have one that says "restore factory settings" (or something similar), maybe that resets the code to 0000, or as Fab said, contact the manufacturer, or fiddle with the firmware (which might be more complicated).

Thank you all for your responses; unfortunately, none of the codes provided by the manual are accepted. I only have Christian's advice left: to return to the store that sold me the unit... pfff... the Leclerc center... hoping to find an answer there...

Good luck, they don't seem to know anything,... apparently they're going to direct you to the customer service which costs money.... once we've paid for the TV, we cease to exist, that's just how business works,
but good luck to you, I hope it's not welcome among the jaded.

Well, a bit of perseverance doesn't hurt... after a long read... I found a code on the provided CD: 0325! And there it is!!! It works, I retrieved all the channels! Thank you all once again for responding so quickly.
Phew! No need to waste my time in the customer service of
a hypermarket!

If I remember correctly, on LG, you first need to do a factory reset, and then if the lock is on (activated), you have to press 7777 on the remote

This might apply to all LGs

The unlock code is specific to each TV, which is why you need to consult the manual.
