LED VGA lit on motherboard

Hello, I know the topic has already been discussed, but none of the solutions proposed have worked for me, which is why I'm asking for help to know where the problem with the VGA LED lighting up on the motherboard comes from. I have already sent the graphics card back under warranty, but when testing with another working graphics card, I still have no signal on my screen and the LED is still on.

I tried to clear the CMOS, but still nothing.

Everything powers on in the tower, but I have no display even with a working graphics card.

Thank you in advance for your help and have a great day!

Hello,

first verify if the screen itself is functioning properly.

Check the motherboard and the PCI port, and if possible, test the graphics card on another setup.

Finally, test and check the memory sticks by swapping them around in the slots.

First of all, if you could give us information about your motherboard (make and model), your graphics card (make and model), your power supply, or the make and model of your PC if it's a branded one, it would help us trace the origin of the problem. As it stands, we're reasoning with no information. If there's another free PCIe slot, try your graphics card in it to see if there's any display. Otherwise, we should consider that it's the motherboard itself that has a problem.

Motherboard: MSI b450 gaming plus

Graphics card: rx580

Power supply: corsair cx 550M

I tried changing the PCIe port for the graphics card but still nothing, the VGA LED is still lit red. And the graphics card works since I borrowed it from a friend. I'm worried that I have a defect that is damaging the component.

The RX580 is generally powered by an 8-pin PCIe connector; is the 8-pin connector of the graphics card always properly connected to the power supply?

Yes, everything is connected to the diet

Hello

Given the age of the equipment, there are already hours of flight... could we have the history of the PC? If it has already been functioning, etc...

Yes yes, the PC worked very well. I changed the GPU from an RX 580 to an RX 6700, but my 6700 had the black screen problem out of the blue with the VGA LED lit up, so I sent it in for warranty, but even with my RX 580, nothing is displaying; the same issue keeps happening.
