Hello, I have an MSI A520M Pro A motherboard and a Ryzen 5 5600G processor. When I turn on my PC, the CPU debug LED lights up and nothing displays. Please help me.

    Hello

Has the PC just been assembled? What is its history?

Yes, my PC has just been assembled; all parts are new.

    Is this a new motherboard?

The processor may just be improperly installed; you need to press down firmly in the center when lowering the locking lever. Be careful with the processor pins as well; this is a problem often seen with these CPUs, bent or broken pins.

I inquired, and the motherboard is intended for Ryzen 3rd and 4th generation. So for the 5000 series, apparently, a BIOS update is needed, but since the processor isn’t working, I can't access the BIOS. Please help me.

Hence my question about the origin of the motherboard...

On MSI's website, they list BIOS V18 for compatibility with a 5600G.

If the motherboard was purchased new, it probably has a superior BIOS, so the issue may not necessarily be the BIOS.

However, if it is second-hand.........There is no other solution than to exchange it or to have a processor recognized natively, like a Ryzen 5 3600 for example, to flash the BIOS to the correct version.

Thank you but how to put the BIOS version compatible with the 5600G without having a functional processor.

That's what I wrote to you, you can't with this motherboard, you need a compatible processor...
