New on Freebox Pop

Hello,

I'm new to Freebox Pop, ADSL offer, and I have the following questions:

1) The light on the Freebox Pop server is solid orange, not solid green. Is that normal?

2) I do not have a television, and for this reason, I haven't opened the box of the Freebox Pop Player. Without a television at home, can anything be done with the Freebox Pop Player? Can I always ignore it and leave it aside?

3) Should the box be turned off when we don't need the internet? For example, at night?

Sincerely,

Hello.

The indicator light is either red or white or slightly yellow because of the plastic covering it; in any case, if you have internet, everything is fine.

Hello, bazfile

Yes, it’s exactly like the picture.
Thank you very much, bazfile.

I also thank everyone else who took the time to respond to me.

Hello,

which indicator are you talking about?

In principle, you never turn off a box, but it's your life too, you do what you want, is this your first box?

Similarly, a TV box when you don't have a TV, indeed, it's better kept warm in the box, because they will ask for it back at the end of the contract.

And there you go ....

But oh dear, how annoying the line spacing is!!

There is only one light IN FRONT of the Freebox POP:
The button that is located in front of the device. Not on the top, to the side, or at the back.

Hello,

Fixed orange light. It can be described as something between light orange and yellow. In any case, not green!

Hello,

but what about the display unit?

And has the commissioning been done or not?

Hello,

Regarding internet access, yes, it works. However, the menu display (including the time) only appears when you press Menu (Menu arrows).

To be a bit more precise, we can say that the color of this indicator (the only indicator in front of us and located at the front of the box) is a warm color (as opposed to the cold light which is white).

Simpler:
Can someone using this model of Freebox (pop) tell me if the indicator of their device is green.
For example, all the indicators of the Livebox that are on are green.

Best regards

Why do you want it to be green, do you have documentation that says so?
