Hello,

For an administrative procedure, I need to enable hidden calls on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, but I don't know where to activate them and everything I've found on the Internet is incorrect.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

For an administrative procedure, I need to activate caller ID blocking on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Are you sure about the source of this request?... It could be a scam to extract personal information from you.

Wait for other opinions...!

No, it's a public organization that I contacted myself (they take care of the computers for high school students in the Pays de la Loire region). However, they tried to call me several times for the procedure in question, but their number is supposed to be hidden when calling back, yet I haven't received any calls, so I want to know where to activate them. Moreover, I received two calls marked as spam, but they weren't masked, so I think there's a setting to disable, but I can't find it.

Hello,

I don't know the Xiaomi brand but you can search for the user guide on their platform... https://www.mi.com/fr/redmi-note-9-pro/specs/

Hello,

If the organization is calling from a private number, there is no way to make it appear regardless of the phone receiving the call.

The essence of a private call is that the caller's number is not transmitted at their request by their telephone operator.

However, you should be able to block private calls, and that is what you need to address on your device. You need to disable the blocking list.

Hello,

The answer to your question isn't straightforward.

There may be an option on your smartphone, in the Phone app settings, to block hidden numbers.

But it's not obvious. On my Samsung, I only have the option to block unknown numbers. This includes numbers that are not in the contacts and of course hidden calls. It's very restrictive and I haven't activated this option.

However, my phone provider (Free) allows blocking hidden calls.

I think you should primarily check in your mobile line management interface if there is an option to block hidden calls.

If there's a block at that level, anything you can do on the smartphone will obviously have no effect.
