Hello,

I would like to transfer fonts from one computer to another, but I can't seem to copy them from the "fonts" folder... Does anyone have a solution, please???

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

I don't see what would prevent copying a simple ttf or otf font from the Fonts folder to a USB drive or via network copy, if the font in question is part of a group, they are all exported at once.

The situation may be less true in the rare cases where the fonts are of other types and not at all if these fonts are installed in a specific format and not in the Fonts folder (this is the case with certain Adobe software)

The catch is that it's not enough to just copy and paste: you need to right-click on the font(s) to install, selecting all in that last case, and choose Install; perhaps some paid commercial fonts are protected against copying, I don't know, and that's another question.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, when I open "fonts" from the settings, it displays them all with a demo above, and I can't right-click. If I click on them, a new page opens with a description, and the only option available is "uninstall." I want to clarify that the fonts I have are free and installed legally ;-)

I don't understand which Windows (at least under Windows 10 the settings have nothing to do with the question)
.
We just need to explore to the folder C:\Windows\Fonts, I can't remember if it's a hidden folder, just in case or if administrative rights are needed to open it:

After that, and I've verified the experience before responding, I select a particular font by right-clicking, several by CTRL, right-click, copy, then paste into the folder of my choice.

Maybe there is another way to access the police file, or a possibility to display it in another format that would allow it to be copied?
