Colissimo tracking issue

Hello, my dad dropped off 2 packages at the post office yesterday morning. The 1st package is all good, it will arrive tomorrow, but for the 2nd one, I have this message appearing

"La Poste is ready to handle your shipment. As soon as it is entrusted to us, you will be able to track its journey here."

However, when I contact customer service (2 advisors + the messenger service), all 3 tell me that there is no tracking for the number I provided, except that there is... so I don’t know what the problem is….

Is it possible that the post office only entered one tracking number for both packages? Will I receive it at the same time as the other one, or is there another issue? ???? thank you, I am so disappointed

If you have 2 deposit slips at a post office with 2 tracking numbers, it means you have 2 different packages. When the package is dropped off at a post office, it is scanned and appears in the tracking on La Poste's website. Sometimes this is not done immediately at the drop-off, but a few minutes or hours later... If it doesn't appear, there could be 2 possibilities in the process: The first is that the package was placed in the Chronopost bin.. In this case, you have a good chance of seeing it return to you as Chrono does not deliver Colissimo packages. The other possibility is that it has disappeared.. It's summer replacement period in services, temporary workers are not as diligent as permanent staff. If it never arrives, the sender is entitled to compensation.. don't forget to claim it.
