Delete winsxs

Hello, after 4 years of good and loyal service, my 120GB is starting to be limited... and yet I'm not storing anything on it, it's just my OS; I have other HDDs next to it for storage or gaming.
Due to lack of space, I would like to delete the winsxs folder, which is 9GB; can I select everything and delete it with the right click?
C:\Windows winsxs
Do you know any unnecessary stuff in W10 that takes up space for no reason to delete?

Good evening,

Who better than Renault can maintain your Renault.
Uh! Chuck Norris...-
thank you but Malekal doesn't say if we can delete it all at once without having any problems I've already done disk cleanup looking for everything I didn't want etc.
basically everything that's taking up space is the Microsoft Windows and Nvidia programs
that would mean that W10 takes up 70 GB the creator of this system is completely crazy it's absurd and way too heavy for what I'm using it for... and especially too heavy for good hardware 120 GB Intel
Hello,
We can't delete everything, some files are in use and others might be useful; ideally, we shouldn't touch anything at all.
Delete everything in the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
In the search box, type Disk Cleanup and choose > C:
You can choose to clean system files "Previous Windows installations" if there are any
You can move what's in your folders from C:\Users\Your name\... to another location on D:\ if you have a D:\ drive
TreeSize Free can help you see what's taking up the most space
https://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free
Then clean up with:
Wise Disk Cleaner
https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/24193-wise-disk-cleaner/
CCleaner
https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/5647-ccleaner/
ATF-Cleaner
https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/atf_cleaner.html
Then right-click on This PC > Properties > System Protection
Or do a "Search" for systempropertiesprotection.exe
Choose C:\
Configure > Delete
Go back > Createthank you Fabul
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download = 700mb delete anyway ...
cleaned the system files already done, all my games photos videos software are on another hard drive the barracuda 2tb
I installed treesize
hiberfile.sys 15gb the big nasty
driverstore 7gb
windows inet cache IE 6GB
Nothing else ... can I delete them?
it’s at times like this that I missed the lightweight pirate versions of all this junk ... the good old days of xp 3 and vista lite ...
in winsxs I don't have a backup but 18815 folders etc.
when I did the cleanup it cleaned windows update but nothing at all from this folder :( apparently it would be Windows recovery tools or something so useful yes but a copy would do the trick since I have nothing to lose on my C system and yes everything is on the 2TB ^^

You can manage the size of the hibernation file hiberfile.sys
Check out this tutorial:https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/25151-specify-hiberfile-type-full-reduced-windows-10-a.html
If you delete it, though, I believe you could run into trouble if your PC goes to sleep.
Edit: I have nothing in INetCache
An English thread here: https://superuser.com/questions/1742426/inetcache-ie-folder-contains-an-incredible-amount-of-files-and-consumes-a-lot-of-
ok I reduced hiberfile well I think I've done the most
for those who don't know W10 Pro weighs 61 GB it's huge for nothing but that's life
thank you all I hope my remaining 50 GB will last a long time
I'm marking it as resolved big thanks
looking forward to lighter versions
If you reinstall from scratch, it will be less.
My Windows 11 Pro folder alone is 23.2GB
If your PC is compatible, you can back up your data, favorites, etc. and install it.
To see if your PC is actually compatible with Windows 11, you can check with WhyNotWin11
https://github.com/rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11/releases
Use the link to download the ISO to create a USB drive (minimum 8GB) to install Windows
https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows11
When you have the Windows ISO file, you can create your USB drive with Rufus
https://rufus.ie/en/
In GPT mode for EFI > For Windows 11 GPT for EFI
Boot from it using the PC's Boot Menu key
https://www.malekal.com/liste-touches-acces-bios-boot-menu-constructeur/
If you don't see it, you can search on Google "[Brand Model] Boot Menu Key"
Choose "Custom Installation" (Not upgrade)
You don't have to format if there's space; if there are data, they will end up in a Windows.old folder.Install on the same partition, or alternatively, delete all system partitions and create a new one (Delete the data).
This will give you a little breathing room...
