Hello, I bought an Acer Nitro 5 PC without an OS and a Windows 10 installation key, but I'm unable to install it. It doesn't find a drive to install it on nor a driver with a signed device. Please help me.

Hello,
Without a doubt, formatting the disk would be a good start.

You do not: the Windows 10 installation key formats it before installation on the chosen partition; it is very likely already formatted NTFS at the time of delivery.
Conversely, you obviously cannot format a disk from an OS that is not installed on it (nor, by the way, if that is the case and you want to commit Hara-Kiri, format a system from which you run the command).
If you really want to be belt and braces, you access the launch of the installation key from the command prompt via the menu or by pressing Shift+F10 and enter:FORMAT C: /FS:NTFS
More precisely, we need to agree on the terminology.
A PC without an OS has nothing at all: if you try to boot it, you get a message of the type Non-system disk error.
To avoid this message, some manufacturers provide disks not without an OS, but without Windows: they boot in DOS mode on FreeDos, Caldera, or whatever else on a C: prompt.
In this latter case, it is indeed necessary to format the disk, otherwise the installation routine may show 2 partitions (one for FreeDos and the other empty), and the result without formatting will be that Windows will be installed in the empty partition, resulting in an unwanted FreeDos-Windows dual boot at startup.Re,
But what the hell is he talking about again;
you format the disk that is on the PC and already blank, which I did on one of my last PCs built by myself, and then I installed a version of Windows on it.
It works wonderfully now.
I put a 1 TB hard drive on it.

Hello,
Assuming the key is valid, it’s the same old story: access the BIOS by repeatedly pressing the appropriate Fn function key (depends on the PC brand and motherboard, often F2 for Acer) right at startup.
Disable the security (Secure Boot or equivalent setting), adjust the boot order using the arrows to move the USB drive to the top, making it the first in the boot sequence, and then restart.
