Weather signal loss
Charjenade -
Hello,
I have a WS 6835 weather station from Lacrosse Technology that worked correctly for two and a half years. Two weeks ago, I had to change the batteries of the transmitter, and since then, there are no outside temperatures in the morning when I wake up, but by mid-morning it comes back, and the same thing happens the next day; it works during the night.
I tried leaving it without batteries for a while. I first put in the base, then the transmitter, and then the opposite. I used Duracell batteries, but it's still the same.

Hello,
And you haven't changed the batteries for two years..??
The last problem might not have been a battery issue, but a failure in the external casing.. Humidity and oxidation break the tracks on the printed circuit board... and it ends badly..
-- The distance might be too great... have you moved your devices around..? Your batteries might be weak... they need to be measured.. even new ones...

Hello
No, I had never changed the batteries, and it was indicating low batteries regarding the base, which is on a power adapter. For 3 days it worked normally, and this morning there was no display for the outside temperature, and it came back around 11 am; I really don't understand.
