Microphone detected by Windows 10 but no sound

Hello, I’m using a Steelseries Arctis 3 headset microphone plugged into the MSI MAG B550 GAMING PLUS motherboard of my PC tower. The audio output works perfectly, it is detected by Windows and functions correctly. However for the microphone, the PC detects the mic but no sound is detected. I want to say that the mic worked properly before, but I had to unplug it to plug it into a laptop, and when I plugged it back into the PC it didn’t work anymore. I’ve already watched several tutorials on the internet but nothing works. The sound settings are correct (it’s the right input and output in the sound settings), I’ve updated the drivers from Device Manager and checked in Privacy that the mic is allowed. I plugged the mic into my laptop and the mic and audio work, so it must come from the PC but I don’t know what to do. If someone has an idea, it would help me a lot. Best regards

Hello, firstly thank you for your response.

      I got the following message:

      • The test failed because your microphone could not capture any sound. Please make sure your microphone is not muted and try again.

The microphone is detected but no sound is captured. This same issue occurs in Windows sound settings: the bar used to test the microphone does not move, and when I test it, I get the message: "The highest value we encountered was 0 percent"
