Hello,
When I log into my Yahoo Mail account, the password appears automatically. Therefore, it is no longer useful. The troubleshooting solutions proposed by Yahoo do not address this issue.
Thank you for your help:

Hello,
The username and password have been saved in the browser. When you log in to Yahoo, they automatically appear in the sign-in area.
You can delete them from the records.
You did not indicate which browser you are using. I will show you how to do it for Chrome.
- Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the browser window and find Settings
- On the left: Autofill, then in the central area: Password Manager.
- You will find general options for managing passwords and below the list of saved passwords.
- Select the one corresponding to Yahoo. To delete or modify it, you need to enter the PIN code or password that allows you to start your Windows session.

You will find similar solutions for other browsers (Firefox or Edge for example).
Normally, saving passwords does not pose any problems if your session is well-protected by a password. If you are not the only user of the computer, be sure to log out of your session when you are done.
What is well conceived can be clearly stated,
And the words to say it come easily.
