Hello,

I exclusively use my OUTLOOK email on my Android phone, and when I try to send a message, I get the following message: "Your storage is full. To send or receive emails, you will need to free up storage space or get more."

I have already disabled OneDrive on my phone, but the problem existed before that.

How can I resolve this issue?

Looking forward,

Best regards

ER

Hello

Your Outlook inbox stores messages online in your Outlook mailbox available directly at https://outlook.live.com

This is where (with a web browser on your smartphone or computer) you need to "empty/delete" the oldest messages in the available folders...

List of Folders

These messages, although read, are kept in your email account (settings adjustable on the site, gear icon at the top right).

If the inbox is almost empty, it's elsewhere that you need to do some cleaning, see here: https://onedrive.live.com

OneDrive is inseparable from your Microsoft/Outlook account, which corresponds to a set of services (free or paid), it’s actually the same with Google (Gmail) and the others.

Talk to you later.

Hello,

I thought I read that Outlook might not store emails in OneDrive. Is that true?

Best regards

Hello
OneDrive is an online "service" from Microsoft, just like Outlook and all the others:

Microsoft Services © SM

However, Outlook emails are not stored in OneDrive, but on Microsoft's mail servers; they are stored like any content on the internet, remaining to be seen for how long...

So OneDrive is inseparable from Outlook as part of your Microsoft Account's service.

You therefore have a Microsoft Account, which includes all the services offered by it.

Your Microsoft account offers a total free capacity of 5GB, including the content of OneDrive AND Outlook and all the other services used (which adds up quickly) and thus fills up fast enough for Microsoft to propose a paid extension...

By the way, look at the 2 application logos displayed in Microsoft's 100GB offer at €2 per month!!

See you later.
