My Panasonic KX-TG6861 phone purchased in March in France only rings once when I receive a call and a blocked alarm appears on the screen, and from that moment I can't hear anything even though it continues to ring for the caller.

    Hello,

This landline phone has a lot of blocks on unidentified calls...

    https://www.panasonic.com/fr/consumer/telephonie/telephones-fixes-dect/kx-tg6861.html

I think that's what's happening to you... The ringing on the caller's side is in no way a reflection of yours.

Here is the PDF user manual link

The call blocks are from pages 23 to 27

Almost all functions are controlled by dialing a number on the keypad... a mistake can happen quickly.

    Hello,

What do you mean by a "crossed alarm"?

An icon in the shape of a crossed bell like the one on the side ====>

Where does it appear? Above the programmable keys at the bottom of the handset screen?

If so, it’s normal for this icon to appear when receiving a call, and if you press the button below without answering, you stop the ringing.

Excerpt from user manual page 18

Your device only rings once... How is the answering machine set to trigger?

During these calls that only ring once, is the caller's number displayed or not?
