Remove certain numbers from the table of contents

Hello,
I'm working on my thesis that I have to submit in a week.
I'm finalizing the formatting and I realized that the introduction and conclusion should not be numbered. I managed to remove the page numbers but one number remains in my table of contents. How can I remove that number?
Thank you very much in advance

Hello,
Try updating your table of contents.
Right-click on the header of the table of contents and Update.
If that doesn't work, an image of your table of contents will be very helpful.

Hello
The table of contents is a field and the items are the same regardless of how these items are formatted. So you either choose to insert page numbers or not, but it's all or nothing.
So, yes, your intro and conclusion pages are not numbered, but the pagination remains in the table of contents because the page numbers exist even if they are not listed.
I don't know if you decided to start the pagination of the text at 1, which is not necessarily logical because if your intro is 3 pages long, your text still starts on page 4. In that case, you will have, in the TOC, two page 1s, two page 2s, etc.
