Hello,
I'm writing a thesis where the formatting must meet the following criteria:
- cover page
- acknowledgments page
- disclaimer page regarding the author's opinions
- a list of 8 pages of faculty members
then the table of contents.
I have defined the titles and started my pagination at page 1 of the table of contents using the other topics on the site.
But when I insert it, I have an entry for "acknowledgments," another for "disclaimer," and a "table of contents" (however, the cover page and the 8 faculty pages do not appear).
How can I remove these unwanted entries? I'm at the beginning of the writing process and it would be frustrating to give up this automatic option.
Thank you in advance for your responses =)

Hello
A table of contents brings up all the titles in the document that have a "heading style" (heading 1 to 9).
Here, if "acknowledgments", another "warning", and a "table of contents" appear, it means they have a heading style.
Assign them a different style and they will disappear from the ToC
If there are any other issues, please specify your version :)
