Logitech MX Master 2S mouse not working anymore

Hello everyone,

My MX Master 2S mouse suddenly stopped working. It is properly connected to my computer since all the buttons work, but it is impossible to move the cursor.

I tried updating the firmware, but that didn't work.

I also fully charged it and plugged it in with the cable, but to no avail...

I think the laser has stopped working, but I don't know how to fix it.

    Hello,

    Fixing a Laser..? I would lean more towards a battery or battery charger issue...

    And especially dust that has settled inside and disrupts the optical functions

    Restarting the PC and the mouse after a total shutdown can also reset the functions

    Aside from the mouse, we know nothing about the types of equipment... It's a bit of a riddle. Because a Windows update may have changed things, very subtly. If the OS is Windows..?

    For future users who may encounter the problem; it is possible that the push button (on the left) gets stuck and prevents the cursor from functioning. If this happens, both will occur at the same time (cursor stuck + push button stuck).

    The fix is quite simple, by opening the mouse. There are 2 screws to loosen very slightly, and the cursor - as well as the push button - will work again.
