Display issue in the development tab of Lightroom

Good evening everyone,
My question may seem stupid but I just downloaded the software and was watching a tutorial to figure out how to use it. But there's something I don't understand: I imported my photos into the library as instructed, I selected one, and when I move to the "develop" tab, my photo doesn't appear and no photo is displayed. No matter how many times I select the photos from the bar at the bottom, nothing shows up. I'm attaching a screenshot.
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
I see in the image that the photo you want to develop is a Nikon RAW file with the extension nrw.
I'm not sure if Lightroom supports these files.
I found: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4607383
What is well conceived is clearly expressed,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hello,
For my part, it seems that it's the ARW file (Sony) that Lightroom 5.4 cannot read. How can I resolve this, please?
Thank you.

These software programs can open ARW files
list at the bottom https://fileinfo.com/extension/arw
and surely one of them can convert it to a file accepted by Lightroom
and online
