PC Acer batterie critique faible mais batterie neuve

Hello. I had a critical low battery message on my Acer Swift 514. So I ordered a new battery after checking the reference by removing the back cover, I received it, installed it, the PC started and after half an hour, low battery again, so I plugged it in and nothing. The battery doesn't charge. After some tinkering I found on forums, nothing works, I have the critical low battery message again. I tested my power supply, I have 19V as indicated.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on or a tutorial to try to solve the problem?
Thank you in advance ????

Hello Panth33ra, it's a fairly recent PC, the battery is internal to the computer. The charger connects to the side of the computer to a component that is plugged into the motherboard. The battery itself is also plugged into the motherboard. So I would say yes, via the motherboard, the battery is powered by the charger. I'm not sure if this answers your question.
Thank you.
Hello everyone,
I deduce that this battery is soldered onto the motherboard. True?
But you say: "The battery itself is plugged into the motherboard". If it is plugged in, it should be replaceable.
I also understand that you are using the laptop with the charger plugged in. True?
If so, this charger is not working properly, or not working at all.
Best regards!
Ok thanks Panth33ra I will check the charger. However, I have already tested it with a multimeter while plugged in, and it does output 19V as indicated on the charger. I would say I can rule that out.
Txiki thank you for looking into my issue, the battery is indeed plugged in, and I even replaced it with a new one of the same model, unfortunately no better which is why I opened this post. Right now, I can no longer use the laptop even when plugged in; it refuses to turn on and displays the message critical low battery.
To be sure about the charger, I will try to buy a new one to see.

Hello Pento_57,
"replaced by a new one of the same reference": it's your connector (red, green, white wires, etc.) on your motherboard that is causing the problem. Your old battery was not the issue!
Look very closely at the soldering on this connector. If there is one or more dull-colored solders, it means there is a "cold solder" joint, so no signal continuity.
If that's the case and you're handy, just heat it up with a heated tip or soldering iron with a fine tip. Your solder joint will become shiny.
Otherwise, clean this connector well with a brush (without liquid) or spray it with a contact cleaner.
"To be sure about the charger, I'll try to buy a new one to see": No! Not necessary for now.
First, test it elsewhere, on another machine to check that it's in working condition!
Regards!
