Wi-Fi key on Ethernet hub/switch

Hello everyone
New identifier but a very old user who has lost his notes.
So, a migration to fiber made me install the new internet box in a different room from the living room.
Previously, I had my TV, a console, and a barebone PC connected via RJ45 to an ethernet hub/switch, which was itself wired to the old box. Now that the box is elsewhere, I would like to know if there is a way to connect a WiFi dongle to this hub/switch.
That way, I could connect all my devices in the TV unit with just one WiFi dongle!
Thank you for your answers.

Hello,
No, a switch that can manage a wifi/usb adapter doesn't exist.
If you want to do that, you take a wifi access point or a repeater in client mode that you connect to your switch, but you'll seriously lose performance compared to the initial fiber speed. For the TV, that's not a problem; it can manage that, but the console and the PC will be disappointed not to benefit from the full fiber speed.
Why didn't you have the fiber box installed instead of the old one?
To maintain your speed, I recommend running a cable along the baseboards between the switch and the box, or a more convenient, more expensive, and less performant version, a mesh wifi network.
In any case, forget about solutions using powerline adapters on fiber; it might work for the TV, but not for the console and the PC.
And there you go....
But darn, those line breaks are annoying!! -
Hello
The guy from Free who installed it from the garage to the entrance (shared wall) did a really shoddy job. I stopped him there and the box stayed in the entrance.
Okay, thanks for the tip, I will leave everything on wifi and add a wifi key on the barbone, we'll see how it goes.
