Memorization of identifiers

Hello,

I messed around with something I shouldn't have in the Microsoft Edge settings for saving passwords, I deleted everything and now I can't get it back to how it was, so I don't have to re-enter the entire username when I want to log into an account.

I've been searching the settings, but whatever I'm doing isn't working. Every time I log out of a site and then log back in, I have to retype everything.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Well, I did, but it saves the username and password; before, it only suggested the username, and I just had to click on it to avoid typing everything again. Is there no option to save only the username?

Hello

On the Edge page, click on the three dots in the top right corner, then on Settings.

Go to Profiles, then Passwords.

Check lines 1 and 3 in the central page.

Thanks, it works, but I finally found out how to remember only the identifiers by going to Microsoft Edge settings, then to profile, then to personal information, and then we confirm to save and complete the basic information.

Isn't it a bit risky to memorize passwords?

Isn't there a risk of hacking?

The zero risk does not exist. But I think the hacking risks are minimal. The files containing the usernames/passwords are certainly encrypted.
The main risk is if someone uses your computer knowing the password.

My passwords are saved and for sensitive sites, there is also two-factor authentication. So far, I haven't had any issues.
