Connect Chromecast without smartphone or tablet

Hello,

I just took out a Chromecast that I hadn't used in over 10 years, and in the meantime, I've changed my Wi-Fi.

Back then, I managed to connect it from the PC without using Google Home, but now I can’t since I don’t have a tablet or smartphone. The link chromecast.com/setup also requires Google Home, which is inaccessible to me.

    Hello you can install the Chromecast from your PC using the Google Home app, you need a Google account to make the device work, and you must connect it to your box's Wi-Fi.

    Hello and thank you

    My browser is indeed Google Chrome, and I am logged into a Google account, but I cannot find the Google Home app. Please note that in the network settings of Windows 10, I can see the Chromecast appearing, but with a limited connection.
