CPL issue disconnects

Hello,

Having bought a console (ps5) recently, I noticed internet problems during my online games, while everything was fine with the ps4 (which is in the same place). After doing some research, I came to understand that indeed the ps5 is less receptive to wifi in certain cases, so I bought a powerline adapter yesterday to play via Ethernet from my room (the router being far away); the first adapter is next to the router and the second one is next to the console. Everything worked perfectly for about 4 hours when during my last game, nothing.... It seems the powerline adapter disconnected completely, so I turned off the console thinking I would sort it out the next day. This morning, before going out, I quickly tested an online game and the console couldn't connect to the powerline adapter.

I saw on several forums that this is a common problem and that you have to disconnect/reconnect the powerline adapters. I have no doubt that it will work again once I do that (I haven't tried yet), but what bothers me is the long-term situation; if this problem happens repeatedly and where it comes from (probably due to interference?). In the cases I've read, for some people the problem was very frequent (every 10 minutes), whereas for me it happened after 4 to 5 hours. Was it just bad luck? Or is this problem going to happen again and again?

If anyone can shed some light on this please, given that the console is very expensive and is less receptive, if I also have to buy powerline adapters and there are issues, it becomes complicated.... Thanks in advance for your responses; this is my first message here, so I apologize if I wasn't clear on some points.

The console and the powerline adapters are ALL new, here is the reference for the powerline adapters:

    Hello.

Powerline adapters depend on the quality of the electrical network in your house; they should be plugged directly into the wall socket and definitely not into a power strip.

Thank you for your reply, indeed the powerline adapters were connected to power strips, I have one last question, if I plug my powerline adapter into a wall outlet, can I then plug my power strip into the powerline adapter? Since there is a slot to plug in, I hadn't thought about it, I imagine the answer is yes...?

Yes, of course, if the powerline adapters have a socket, it's precisely so that the wall socket is not lost.

Alright, I'll test it tonight but normally it should be fine, thank you very much.
