Hello,

I recently changed my landline phone, and I have an Alcatel 880 with a screen.
I have 2 questions:

- I saw that there is a "FV/DC" mode in the settings if my memory serves me right; what is it?

- This morning I wanted to call, and I encountered an answering machine where I had to choose 1, 2, or 3; but when I pressed my option, it didn't take it into account and said it didn't understand; in other words, it's not working! yet the keypad works very well. Does anyone have an idea why? And if there's something I can do?
Thank you for your feedback, it's very inconvenient for a business phone, as I often encounter this kind of answering machine.

    Hello,

It is indeed the Alcatel Temporis 880 phone.

The FV/DC choice is related to the numbering.

    • FV voice frequency
    • DC decimal numbering (pulse)

The latter option has been abandoned in France for a long time. Therefore, the phone should be configured in FV.

As for interactive voice servers (press 1, press 2, etc.), there’s no reason this shouldn't work.

However, if this phone is connected to a box, please reset it.
To do this, cut the power supply to the box for one minute and then turn it back on.

Otherwise, contact your telephone operator and report the issue to them.

    hello

    it's FV/ND,

the numbering by vocal frequency, tat, tit, tut = 3,6,9, one sound equals one digit

the decimal counting, click, click, click = 3

Thank you for your response. For FV/DC, I understood, and yes, it's indeed the Temporis 880. So the phone is connected to a phone socket, but it's complicated, as I have 2 numbers on the same socket, one in 09 (Bos) and the other in 04, the company phone... so I'm not sure, I will try to reboot the box, since I am on the same connection.

If you are in a company... there is certainly a telephone switchboard...

In this case, you should inform the manager of this switchboard, as it may be him who is blocking the system.

Also check in the settings of your Temporis the "Flashing" to be set to "Medium"

    Well, after setting up the phone on FC, it works, but I don't know if it's that or if it's because the line is working correctly (there was an issue with the network);

      It's FV..... :o)

The important thing is that it works in the end...

      Thank you for the feedback
