Éteignez l'alimentation et connectez les câbles d'alimentation PCIe.

Hello,

Today I decided to remove my graphics card, which is a GeForce RTX 2060, to clean it. When I reinstalled it and made sure to reconnect all the cables, it indicated "Power down and connect the PCIe power cables." However, it is indeed powered, as the light is on and the fan is running.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hello,

    Your graphics card disagrees, though...

Yes, the problem is definitely there; however, it is indeed beautiful and connected, and it turns on. I don't know where the problem could be coming from.

Well, I can't do anything for you, the message is quite clear, it's due to the missing 8-pin power connector from the PCIE, maybe the cable or the card's connector are not making contact with each other.

I only have 6-pin PCIe power connectors while my card has 8 pins; however, for the 3 years that I've had this card in the same PC, the connectivity with just 6 pins worked correctly.

Can the problem come from here?

It's logical, you need an 8-pin, what's your power supply, a low-end one?

My power supply is a Cooler Master 500W 80 Plus Bronze

What I don't understand is that my GPU has been running for 3 years with 6 pins, so why does it need 8 now?
