Facebook Dating has disappeared.

Hello,

I was on Facebook Dating and it was working really well, then at one point I deleted my account and since then I've been nowhere to be found on the app.

I find it really unfortunate, I would greatly like to find a way to resolve this issue.

I tried to contact Facebook from their Facebook page but got no response, only an automated reply that leads me to the "help" page.

Has anyone had the same problem?

Just to mention, it's been well over the 7 days required before you can re-register after deregistration.

Hello

Why 7 days? Deleting a Facebook account takes 30 to 90 days depending on the case...

But if you log back in with your usual username and password, doesn't it work? Normally, that should stop the deletion.

To start, thank you for taking the time to respond to me.

To be honest, this is not about my Facebook account; I have always had it and have never deleted my Facebook account.

I'm talking about Facebook Dating, "the app within the app," so to speak, which is used for making connections.

Previously, it would appear in the icon bar, but it has completely disappeared now, and it’s impossible to find even by searching within the Facebook app.

Yes, for Facebook dating in general it’s indeed 7 days... but according to the FAQ (well, the way it's phrased) it feels more like a minimum ("at least 7 days") than anything else... maybe we need to wait longer... it’s never very clear with FB...

Yes, I'll wait to see, even though I don't think it will come back since it's been quite a while.

I've already tried all possible troubleshooting steps (uninstalling, clearing the app data, etc...) but nothing works.

It's really unfortunate and I don't understand why they complicate things so much for re-registering, especially since I have a serious Facebook account.

And not being able to directly contact via Facebook message to resolve an issue, I don't find that normal.

I have the same problem on Facebook; they tell me I have to pay to reactivate it. Is there someone who knows about this? Thank you.

Hello Jpf, Facebook Dating is free (definitely don’t pay anything) but it often happens that there are bugs, mine also disappeared, you can try typing "Dating" in the Facebook search bar to see if it reappears, I tried and it doesn’t work, otherwise just wait or report it to Facebook which takes a long time to respond or may never respond.

I deleted my account in August 2023 because I had a relationship that lasted until July. Since then, I haven't seen the dating app in the menu bar or in the options.

Have you found out how to reactivate it?

Same for me, nothing anymore, he disappeared and I've tried everything but he still doesn't come back

I really liked him though
