Hello,

I want to add 2 existing Orange email addresses (xxxxxx@orange.fr) to my GMAIL inbox. In the 'add address' option, if I enter an address ending with 'orange.fr', Gmail indicates that the address does not exist. However, addresses ending with 'gmail.com' pose no problem.

I want to make this change on PC under W11. I use GMAIL on Android and I don't have this problem. On Windows, I use the 'Thunderbird' email client and want to use the same email client across all my devices.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Good evening

Set up a forwarding of Orange messages to Gmail

Hello

Maybe it would be better to add the Orange accounts in Thunderbird rather than Gmail

Hello,

Thank you for your response. The accounts already exist in Thunderbird. I want to stop using this email client and therefore add these Orange accounts to Gmail.

Good evening

Be careful, this might be a security conflict; it's not the same on PC as it is on Android, so it's worth investigating further

Hello,

Not resolved. After several searches on the web, I can't find a solution to my problem. On the PC, the @orange.fr addresses are not recognized. I will stick to the current setup, Gmail on Android and Thunderbird on Windows.
