How to install guest additions on a macOS VM

Hello, I am running Mac OS Monterey on VirtualBox but I have never been able to install the guest additions that are essential on a VM. So do you know how to successfully install the guest additions? Thank you very much.

    Good evening, normally this is a message that appears when you start your virtual machine, you haven’t seen it? Otherwise, go to the file explorer, open the "VirtualBox Additions" file and click on "VBoxDarwinAdditions.pkg" to start the installation. Once that's finished, restart your VM and you should be good to go.

    Yet that is exactly what I did, and each time it shows me an installation error. And yes, I do click on Darwin; the beginning of the installation goes smoothly, but at the end, the same message appears, and I really wonder what to do. I tried changing the version of VirtualBox; I started with 6.1 and switched to 7.1, and still the same problem.

    Oh, and for clarification, my host machine is a Windows 10 22H2
