Chronological list in WhatsApp discussion

Hello
On WhatsApp, even if I delete the last message sent in a conversation with a contact, their name still appears at the top of the list in conversations.
What setting should I adjust?

On WhatsApp, when you delete the last sent message in a chat with a contact, that contact's name will remain at the top of the chat list, even if the message has been deleted. This is because deleting a message does not delete the chat itself, but only the specific message.
If you want to completely delete a chat with a contact, you can do so by following these steps:
- Open the WhatsApp application on your device.
- Go to the chat you want to delete by tapping on it in the chat list.
- Click on the three dots icon at the top right of the screen.
- Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
- Select "Delete for me" to remove the chat from your chat list, or select "Delete for everyone" to delete the chat from both your chat list and your contact's.
It’s important to note that deleting a chat does not remove the messages sent and received in that chat, but only the chat itself.

Hello
There must be different WhatsApp versions
It completely removes the solution mentioned
Otherwise, when I select only the message, I do have the option to delete for me or for everyone, but I have the problem mentioned above... the conversation goes back to the top and doesn't return to the date of the last message...

I have the same issue on Android (even though it wasn't the case before).
However, on iPhone there is no issue when the message is deleted, as the conversation goes back down the list to the date of the last received message.
I would also like to find a solution so that it works again with Android.
