Hello!
Since this afternoon, when I turned on my Lenovo ThinkPad X390, I came across this black screen with a padlock on the left side of the screen, and it's asking for a code that I don't have.
Can you help me, please?
Hello,
This is the BIOS password, you won't get any help with that, ask the person who set it.
I have the BIOS password because I set it myself, but right now it’s not the BIOS password that is being requested.
It's definitely the BIOS, I have an x260, it's almost the same.
The BIOS never has the 1 above the cylinder next to the Lock. I know my BIOS password well. It’s not the BIOS.
but it comes to the same depending on where you access it, the logo changes
It's not working. Thanks anyway.
Good evening
It's the password for the hard drive, which can be configured in the BIOS.
What should I do then? I can't access the BIOS. At startup, this screen appears, and I can't do anything.
Unless you know the hard drive's BIOS password, it's generally impossible. The only option left is to contact Lenovo's customer support.
Hello, I have the same problem, so should I call Lenovo?
