TV Ambilight and Philips Hue issues

I recently purchased a Philips Ambilight TV 65PUS7906, 4 Philips Hue color bulbs, and the Hue bridge.

On my television, I cannot find the Ambilight+hue option; I can only change the color, even though it is up to date and connected to the internet.
In the app, they only offer this option with the Sync Hue.
Is the Sync Hue really necessary to connect the bulbs to the TV?

    I think so. If the option is not available on the television, it probably isn't compatible.
    But it's surprising because my TV, which is already a bit dated, has this feature. But it was in the high-end range back then.
    The principle is that the TV connects to the bridge via this function, then the duo manages it.
    I compared the manual for your TV, page 13 (+-) with mine, and indeed it seems that there is no such option on your model. Just the basic Ambilight.

    It would have been interesting to analyze this thoroughly before purchasing the TV or the colors, or to ask the seller if there was one.
