Hello
I want to convert my movies/series of Blu-ray 1080p type and I would like to know which audio format is better as I can't decide.
I read that AAC is better, but I find that AC3 has better sound on my TV.
If I buy a Samsung soundbar, will there be a significant difference in bass?
Also, what bitrate should I use?
AAC at 384kbps or 320kbps?
Or AC3 at 640kbps or 448kbps?
Videos that I download in 1080p bluray
The DTS format is not supported on my TV, so I want to convert this format to either AAC or AC3, but I don't know which one is better on a TV for watching an episode of a series, for example.
Hello,
The AAC and AC3 formats only relate to Audio format. For video, you need to re-encode to MP4 or MKV. Install MediaInfo.
Alright, that wasn't the question, I misspoke. What is the best audio format between AAC and AC3 for a 1080p Blu-ray?
Apart from reading gibberish, I understand nothing with these Hz Dolby frequency thingamajigs; it's impossible to get a clear answer like "AAC is better than AC3," right?
Lol, well it’s pointless to post here if it’s just to send us to random links, I can read too.
