Black screen on a PS2 game! It works

Hello,

So to start, I wanted to say that the game I bought is DBZ Budokai 2 and it's really awesome, but once in the PS2 it works and then a black screen?

That said, I tried with another composite cable, it works but the cable doesn't seem to hold up, lol.

If you have any solutions, I'm all ears.

    Hello, I'm answering this message to ask you which TV you are using: a CRT or a normal one? Because on the PS2, there’s a browser and settings option, and you can check inside to see what you can do. Do you have the big or small PS2 (PS2 fat or PS2 slim)?

    Which of these cables is it?

    Have you checked the photo to see if your PS2 ports are not dirty or damaged? If you want to know, a PS2 can still work, that's all I had to say for now.

      Thank you for your response, it brings me so much joy.

      Moreover, I play on a regular TV and I use the first tricolor "RGB" cable.

      However, this issue only happens with this game; the others work fine. The game where this occurs is Dbz Budokai 2.

      It happens at the moment when you choose the language for the game.

        But here I don't see why this game and not another one. Maybe the lens is unable to read it because a long time ago I had a PS2 slim, and when I played games, it didn't load them, so this is just a supposition.

        But if the game has circular scratches, that's not good either, but I don't think so. Then name a PS2 game that creates a black screen after the language. Good evening.
