Amazon account blocked for unusual activity
SolvedPierre -
Hello everyone! So I have a very annoying issue. I placed an Amazon order for a computer, and when I tried to view the order,
the app asked me to log in, and there I saw:
"Account temporarily suspended
We have noticed unusual payment activity on your account and need to verify the identity of the owner of the payment method used for your most recent order."
Very strange, I don't understand anything, but I'm following the procedure (entering the information), but at the bottom, Amazon asks me to attach a document, a "Billing statement, with these indications:
"Make sure that ONLY the last four digits of the card are visible.
For your safety, DO NOT include all card or account numbers."
"The following information must clearly appear on the statement:
- Your name and billing address
- Phone number (if it appears on your billing statement)
- The last 4 digits of the card or account number"
So I went to my emails and clicked on Amazon, I have my purchase email but there are no last four digits of the card on the email so it's unacceptable. I've done some research and apparently, I need a bank statement with the address, the mention "Amazon purchase" as well as the last four digits. And whether on the site or the app, the transaction being in a recording state, it's impossible that it still appears on the account statement.
Sorry, that was a bit long, but I wanted to explain everything. I'm really lost and want to resolve this issue as soon as possible, because the discount is no longer there, so if the order is canceled, and if I don't recover the account in time, I will lose the discount. I absolutely need help, thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
UNBEKAND Pierre
