Hello, I don't really see the point aside from consuming electricity for nothing... Maybe he had a good reason, I'm not a pro with my printer so I can't confirm it 100%

    Hello,

It depends on whether you print a lot or a little... often or not often..?? I should mention that it's an inkjet printer.

In my opinion, I see no downside to turning it off if you print infrequently and have enough patience to wait for it to start up when you need it...

The power consumption at rest is ridiculous... those who have air conditioning units at 5000 watts aren't bothered by the watts consumed in standby... But well, we might need to get used to this language...!!!

On the other hand, I advise you to print an A4 sheet, rich in colors, once a week to keep your printer functioning and to prevent the ink from clogging in the print heads...

Never leave the printer without cartridges or with empty cartridges.

    Thank you Jeannets,

I have noted your recommendations... Thank you. I also chose the HP option

with 6 months of free trial, which manages the ink cartridge evolution and sends us

their replacement before the ink runs out. I believe it's called the "Inks" option

I've only heard good things about it...

    We'll see how it works...
