PC reset for college

Hello,

So here is my problem: I have a computer (given by the college, as I have finished my schooling there) running Windows 10 Education and I would like to install a "normal" version of Windows 10, or if you have any recommendations, preferably the most optimized one possible. The real problem is that I can't reset the PC using the basic command (Settings, Update and Security, Recovery, Reset). The administrator installed a "reset" file but it doesn't work.

Thank you in advance for your responses.

Best regards

    Hello,

Can you format the hard drive?

      Hello,

No, everything is blocked by the administrator.

    Good evening,

In order to install a Windows ISO, you need to access the BIOS, which is protected by a password that the designated teacher at the school should be able to provide you. Otherwise, I don't see how you will be able to change the boot order, currently set to the C: drive, to launch the Windows installation utility from the DVDROM or USB stick.

Needless to say, we do not have this password, nor any "tricks" to bypass it.
