Hello,
Is there a software in the Microsoft Store that allows you to change letters to uppercase and lowercase? I insist that it be from Microsoft because I previously found software outside of this site and it crashed my PC system. I had to take it for repairs.
Otherwise, is there any other way to do it?
Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me.

Thank you again, Jeannets.
It is indeed my computer.
Thank you for the manual. It is not normal that it was not provided with the computer, which is still quite expensive.
I went to page 14. I have everything regarding the caps lock key and the lowercase key. Like all computers, if I press the desired key, I am either in uppercase or lowercase. But in the body of the text, there is absolutely nothing, no light, indicating the change to uppercase or lowercase.
I will download the Acer quick access software mentioned by Jordane45.
I plan to do it tomorrow, due to lack of time.
Thank you for reaching out, and I wish you a good day. -

So it must be SWIFT and not Wift, and there should be a number behind it, like S30 for example... it should be on the label under the PC... I found this manual that should be close to yours
https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Document/User%20Manual%20W10/User%20Manual%20W10_Acer_1.0_A_A.pdf?acerid=636350068542453703&Step1=ULTRA-THIN&Step2=SWIFT&Step3=S30-10&OS=ALL&LC=fr&BC=ACER&SC=EMEA_13
The keyboard subject is on page 14
if that doesn't work, give the exact model of yours... -
Hello,
Personally, I use Keyboard Leds
https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/13309-keyboard-leds/
I use it for the numeric keypad, but it can also be used for uppercase letters. There are 3 indicators that can all be used for the same function, which provides better visibility.
A very lightweight program that gets the job done!

And the words to say it come easily.

Hi
At my place, the installer doesn't launch on W10 or 11 (up to date) in 64 bits even in W7 compatibility mode
Same issue on W7 64 or XP 32:
- Hello,
I am on Win 11 and it's working (same version 2.7.1.59).
I took the version that is on the publisher's site:
https://keyboard-leds.com/
not the one offered by CCM.
(there is probably an update to be done on CCM)

Good evening Pierr10,
Thank you. It's an application I used to know in the past and couldn't find again. I thought it no longer existed. Here is the solution.
However, I would like someone to tell me if ACER QUICK ACCESS does the same job as Keyboard LEDs, just out of curiosity.
Otherwise, thank you all. Being able to type an uppercase or lowercase letter with full understanding seems like a small problem to solve, but it was important to me, as it surely is for others.
Once again, thank you and have an excellent evening, everyone.

Hello
Why do you want software when your keyboard already has a key designed for that purpose?

Thank you for your response.
Actually, I misspoke. I'm looking for how to see when I'm in uppercase or lowercase. When I want to type a text, nothing allows me to see if I'm in uppercase or lowercase. This is also complicated for passwords.- It is clear that you need the Acer Quick Access software

Hello,
All keyboards are standardized according to the country's language, since the typewriter era... so AZERTY layout for the French of France.
You just need to have the Caps Lock key (lock) activated for all typing to be in uppercase and vice versa, for lowercase.
And by doing so, it doesn’t break your machine..
If I misunderstood your question... Maybe you should rephrase it so that everyone can understand. -

Give the exact model of your ACER, let's say there must be something existing that allows us to see this. -
Thank you Jeannets.
It's an ACER "W I F T" Windows 10 laptop.
If you want more information, let me know how to obtain it.-

Hello,
I saw this software and I even downloaded it. Then I deleted it. I was scared because I had downloaded another software that broke my Windows system, and I had to take my laptop for repairs even though it's new. So now I am very careful about what I install. Preferably ACER products.
But thank you for your reply. -

For TrayStatus, you have the description in the link I provided, for Acer Quick Access, it says this:
Acer Quick Access allows you to quickly and easily adjust the settings you use most often. You can turn wireless devices on or off in the blink of an eye, modify USB charging settings when powered off, network sharing options, and much more.
SOURCE
You'd better test TrayStatus first, it's less resource-heavy than Acer Quick Access.
