Hello,
I would like to know how to unlock a PC keyboard Acer type Aspir M3610.

A friend of mine has a 2-year-old boy who fiddled with the computer keyboard. Since then, everything works except for the keyboard, which is blocked. The mouse works normally, the cursor moves, but there's no way to type anything. Do you have any ideas to help resolve this issue?
Thank you very much for your reply.

Good evening,

Is it a wired or wireless keyboard? If it's wired, you should try disconnecting the keyboard from the tower, then reconnect it and finally restart the computer.

If it's wireless, you need to sync the keyboard/receiver. To do this, press the red button under the keyboard and then the sync button on the receiver. Of course, check the batteries if there are any.

Good luck.

It's through these mistakes that we learn.

Thank you for your response.
It’s a wired keyboard. My friends disconnected the keyboard as you mentioned, but apparently, it still doesn't work.
Do you believe there might be a hidden small button somewhere on this keyboard (model Acer KU/0355) that needs to be activated?
My friends tell me that when they perform the maneuver you suggest, at the moment the computer turns on, the keyboard lights up for a brief moment and then turns off. I thought it might be a loose connection or a small switch accidentally triggered.
I’m working with them over the phone, so I can't see exactly what they're doing.
Thank you anyway for what you have done.

No, there is no switch on this keyboard; if the keyboard is connected via USB, you should try plugging the keyboard into another available USB port (and don’t forget to restart the computer each time, otherwise the keyboard will not activate).

Yes, it's a USB keyboard, I just checked. The fact that it lights up for a brief moment during startup is perfectly normal, no loose connection.

Thank you very much for your help.
Unfortunately, nothing is going well. I will let you know if we have found a solution, but I won't go to their place until next week.
Good night!
