SD card prevents the 2DS XL from turning on

Hello,

I'm back regarding my issue. I've already asked the question to those who replied, and I've found the source of the problem: The SD card, as indicated in the title, prevents the console from turning on. When I remove it, the console powers on normally. Where does the issue come from, is it the SD card that is defective or the SD card slot that is no longer working? Thank you.

    Is the SD card full or empty? If it’s empty, format it to FAT32 using your PC and reinsert it into your console.

        Hello, 
         The SD card, as indicated in the title, prevents the console from turning on. When I remove it, the console turns on normally.

        To keep it simple, when a device is faulty, it will cause problems on the device receiving it…
        A simple diagnosis…
        You should try the SD card on another device, and if any symptoms appear in that case, the card is dead.

        No, the card is fine because I can insert it into the computer without any problem. It's in the console that it's not working.

        Yes, I can see the files that are in there, no problem. If it's not the card, it could be a malfunction of the card reader that prevents it from turning on, is that possible? But it would be strange for the reader to suddenly cause a malfunction at the ignition level.

    Good evening,

    The New Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS XL and New Nintendo 2DS XL consoles are compatible with microSD cards of a maximum size of 2 GB, and microSDHC cards from 4 to 32 GB. All other types of SD cards are not considered compatible.

    SDXC and microSDXC cards are not considered compatible.

    So please check if your card meets these specifications.

      Of course, since I've never had this problem before. It's an 8 GB SDHC card that I have. I can't do anything with this console anymore since there are no more saves; I won't be able to progress in the games, as if I had to buy another one. This problem is annoying... is it possible that the reader is dead? Has anyone ever had this problem? And if it were with another card than the ones mentioned, would that also cause it not to turn on?

      I forgot to mention that the console is hacked with Luma 3DS, and I've seen on forums that it could prevent the console from turning on, so instead of it being a problem with the reader, I would lean more towards Luma. I'm not very familiar with this software. I didn't install it myself (I can't get in touch with this person anymore to resolve the situation), and I don't know what should have been done to avoid this.

      I don't have any pirated games, I only have cartridges. I only have Mario Land on it, NES version.
