No more reception of my Multiplex R2 channels with TNT

Hello.
I am currently experiencing a problem with the reception of my channels: 8, 15, 16, 17, 18 (Multiplex R2) on my TNT televisions.
After calling an antenna technician sent by my building manager regarding the collective roof antenna, everything works fine.
He admitted to me that the problem lies with individuals who have changed their SFR boxes for fiber optic.
Since then, all these issues have arisen.
After many requests made to SFR regarding the concept of Numéricâble, they reportedly told the professional that it was a breakdown and that we would have to wait and see when it would work again.
So, with no certainty that it will ever work again...
If I don’t wait patiently, I will have to bring this technician to my home who will reconfigure all my channels from the roof, but the service is quite expensive.
What I cannot accept is that in relation to these malfunctions, for which we currently cannot find solutions, and as it seems unclear, I do not understand why it is the people who opted for fiber optic from SFR who are experiencing this problem in our area in Montélimar?
Do you know anything?
Best regards.

    Hello,

Watching TNT directly on the TV has nothing to do with an ADSL or Fiber Box, as it can even be received by people who have not subscribed to any Internet offer.

One possibility is that, before the building was fibered, it was supplied by a Numéricable cable offer: in this case, the rooftop antenna may only feed the Numéricable cable and not go through the standard antenna sockets.

    Thank you for your response.
Yes, our building was once wired with Numéricâble, where we took our first steps with the internet. Then the major operators arrived, with ADSL.
So if I understand correctly, having had Numéricâble, I could receive television with the old network?
In any case, I no longer receive the channels grouped in multiplex R2.
With fiber optics, a box was installed that includes a connection for my channels on the roof.
    Best regards.

Andy is the expert on this topic; he will comment if he comes by.

Fiber does not require any antenna box, which always points to the same story: it is indeed possible, since the Numericable network is no longer operational with the arrival of fiber, that its cabling has been preserved and that a distribution box allows connecting both this cabling and that intended for conventional antenna sockets.

I suppose the syndic or the council, to whom it is appropriate to ask the question, have the history of the work that has been carried out either by the network operator or by an antenna technician regarding what is connected and where.

Unless, of course, the problem is specific to your TV (have you rescanned for channels?); is the same issue present with all your neighbors, fibered or not?

    @brucine,
    Thank you.
Yes, about a month ago, since I was no longer receiving these channels, I did some research.
Research that I have done several times.
Now my list is reduced by 5 fewer channels.
They are part of what is called the R2 multiplex. A set of channels that people generally complain about, which they can no longer receive.
For now, I think this problem, which has persisted for a month, does not seem to have any upcoming solutions.
The other people in the building, for the most part, do not have televisions with DTT.
    No one has complained.
The antenna technician assured me that there are a few of us in Montélimar who know about this issue and they are people who have switched to fiber optics with SFR.
The problem remains unsolved with this operator.
Could it be that there is a connection issue at the fiber box level?
Why could the antenna technician, by coming to the house, fix everything for me?
For that you have to pay.

It's still not clear; if there was no connection to the antenna, and unless it is defective or there is an issue with the relay, it is not R2 that you would be missing, but everything.

If the roof antenna connection exists only via the non-operational Numericable coaxial, the co-owners are becoming less and less interested because they have boxes with possibly a multi-TV subscription.

And under these conditions, it would indeed be up to you not only to have the roof antenna connected at your own expense but also to ask the co-owners' general assembly for permission to do so.

    Thank you for this response.
No, the antenna technician clearly told me that the roof antenna had no malfunction.
He said he had contacted SFR regarding Numéricâble in the past and that they had replied that there was a breakdown, that they would look into it, but that I would have to wait.
    He offered me two solutions:
    1- to wait
2 - if the service doesn't come back, to come to my place to restore my services regarding the roof antenna.
But of course it's chargeable because it's private...
    It's a strange story...
