Partial reception of TNT multiplex R1 and R7 only

Hello,

I recently got an LG TV on which I want to receive TNT.

I live in a residential building and my neighbor in the same hallway is receiving all the TNT channels without any issues. As mentioned in the title, I can only receive multiplexes R1 and R7. When I perform an automatic scan for TNT, it offers to add channels 25 and 28, but nothing happens because the signal is nonexistent. I changed my location settings to the Netherlands as suggested by some for LG TVs, but it didn't help. I thought about the TV antenna cable, but since I can receive some channels, I assume that's not the issue. If you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate them. Thank you in advance. AL

Hello,

Question: does your residence receive television via antenna or "cable"?

Which transmitter do you depend on? What is the location of your residence?

Good evening, reception by antenna unless I'm mistaken and I am close to the Eiffel Tower (exactly near Versailles) I have checked and I am likely to receive all channels.

Thank you

If you are using a rabbit ear antenna, have you checked that the searches have been properly conducted on antenna (terrestrial) and digital channels?

On the Eiffel Tower transmitter in Paris, the multiplexes are:

  • R1 Channel 35 (France 2 - France 3 - France 4 - Franceinfo - France 3 Paris Île-de-France - BFM Paris Île-de-France)
  • R2 Channel 25 (Gulli - BFM TV - CNEWS - CSTAR - T18 - Novo 19)
  • R4 Channel 30 (France 5 - M6 - Arte - W9 - 6ter - Paris Première)
  • R6 Channel 32 (TF1 - LCP - TMC - TFX - LCI)
  • R7 Channel 42 (TF1 séries films - L'Equipe - RMC story - RMC découverte - Chérie25)
  • R9 Channel 24 (France 2 UHD)
  • RLocal Channel 28 (Télé Bocal - Night TV - 20 Minutes TV Ile-de-France - Le Figaro - TV Île-de-France)

Try to manually search for digital channels on channels 25, 30, and 32 if your television allows it, to obtain the missing channels.

Good evening, well it doesn't work.

It's not possible to catch the signal.

I'm going to have to find another solution.

Are you sure that it's a TNT antenna that's supposed to provide you with television and not "The Cable"?

Do a search on "The Cable" to see.

Sorry, I hadn't seen the last intervention from baladur13 on 09/15 at 10:00 PM.

I tried and I have nothing at all.

Okay... The "Cable" solution is not the right track.

What is the model of your LG television?

Can you try connecting your television at your neighbor's place and attempt a new search for digital channels (in France)?
