Instagram GIFs not working in messages

Hello,

I have a small issue with GIFs on Instagram. When I send one via message, it only shows a still image and isn't animated. Can this problem be resolved? I had already messaged Instagram and they replied that the issue was fixed, but it still doesn't work...
