Hello.
Does DDR5 need to be installed in pairs like DDR4 and previous versions, or can 1 module be installed alone? (for example, 1 x 16GB instead of 2 x 8GB?)
Thank you.

Hello,
it is not mandatory, but it is generally recommended to prefer dual/quad channel.
Afterwards, the gain will be more or less visible depending on what you do and for games of what quality. -
Hello
Apart from the fact that it is faster than DDR4, there isn't much difference in usage.
You can use 16GB with one stick. It allows dual channel with a single stick.
You can put 2 sticks of 8GB to make dual channel available?
According to some, 2 sticks could allow for accelerated performance as if it were quad channel.
For now, it's fast enough not to see much difference, but as soon as software takes advantage of its speed for more intensive use: as usual, PCs will be slower a little while after
Only difference really is 0.1% lows in some game. DDR5 actually runs one stick in dual channel anyways so if you get another stick it will be like quad channel
I would actually say that depends on the game -

"You can put 16 with a single stick. It allows dual channel on a single stick."
It's surprising: I haven't seen it anywhere.
