Looking for the name of a computer game.

Hello,

I am looking for a computer game that I think dates back to the years 2000 - 2005.
It's an educational game, and I remember that when you accomplished certain tasks, you could take a train that would take you to different places and sang.

    Yeah, I don't really see what it is. I also played educational games, like Adibou and the Trouvetout Club, and unfortunately, it's different from yours... I searched online based on the information given, but I found nothing. It's not easy. It might come from someone, who knows... Take care.

    old games are not compatible with Windows 10, you should know that. Thank you for your understanding.

      Hi,

      We can run a very, very large number of games on Windows 10. Almost all of them that have been released. Some natively, others with a few tweaks. Not to mention the games revamped by stores like GOG.
      We also have the option to run them on a virtual machine. The solutions are numerous.

      I would add that Ju_73 didn't ask to play it, he's currently just looking for the name of the game.

        Yeah, and it was in case he wanted to run it later. I don't think you can run "a lot of games" because I've experienced it myself. Especially those from the early 2000s, or just a very few even by just installing them. And if that's the case, you have to tweak a lot. The best option is still the virtual machine or console emulators, like I have when I can't install a game, that's good too. And if he doesn't want to play it, what's the point of asking?

        I experienced it too; since I like retro games, I installed quite a few games from all eras, and very few have held my attention until the end. Especially since, as I mentioned earlier, a large portion of the classics and other minimally known games come with an installer compatible with platforms like GOG.

        And we can look up a game name just to reminisce while watching a small let's play video or something. ;-)

        Some games didn't resist you because you had help behind, this platform that you talk about. Just installing them without anything doesn't work for most. Yep, let's play is also good when you can't have it any other way, just for the memory.

    Ju_76, could you be more specific about the game? It's vague and I don't think it helps much, at least for me.

      I have very vague memories unfortunately... I remember the yellow train I think and when we completed certain "missions", we could choose a world and we would leave with the train to that world and there was music and a song (like the letter world etc...). It was a game similar to Lapin Malin I think.
      After that, that's all I remember... I have no memories of the characters... only the train.

    There may be more if it's not on the internet, at least that hasn't been pointed out by anyone. It seems like it was your favorite game; I get the impression you really care about it :)

      It wasn't my favorite game, but it must have been 2 years since it occasionally comes back to my mind, but impossible to find ????

    It's going to be difficult. All the games available, it's going to be tough and it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. The second link isn't really educational games :)
    I would suggest dropping it...

      The first link includes around fifty games. And with the dates, there aren’t even 20 games from the extended 2000s.

      The second link indeed includes educational games; I don't understand the comment.

      And there are 310 games. Hovering over the link opens a tooltip where you can see the release date and the game cover. If you take a little time, you can go through all of it.

      I understand that you may not have a taste for challenge, but don’t discourage others. ;-)

      On this forum and others, we've already found things with less information. (Special mention or about music, some find a song with a request like: does anyone know a pop song that goes nananana nanan nanana?) :-D

    The second link, okay, there are educational games and others that are not, like Elmo ;D

    I feel like the games don't match, and in the end, it will go faster than expected.
    I spotted one with the yellow school bus (the magic yellow bus, that famous educational cartoon with the bus that transforms), which I think makes a mistake by saying the train
    . I see that. Yes, of course we can find it, and I'm not saying otherwise, but you really need to have the knack to find it with little information and to know the subject well. It doesn’t happen every time.
