Hello,
My laptop's storage disk is packed (468 GB out of 475 GB) even after clearing files and uninstalling programs ...
I can't download anything anymore, nor can I use my editing software (it doesn't want to do anything ...).
I saw in a discussion that I could delete this file, but I had previously asked the IT technician to remove it because I didn't want to pay for the subscription. I'm still facing restrictions due to Norton, which prevents me from accessing sites I use for work ... ????????????
I'd like to know if I can delete this file without risking any issues, its name is: {52953D38-414C-46A7-BE2E-71F0D9469A7B} and it takes up 144 GB
I'm currently copying all my files to an external hard drive ...
Thank you for your responses ????????????
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 98.0.4758.102

Hello
if you are on Windows 10, Norton is useless, on the contrary, it is way too resource-hungry
Remove NORTON
on Windows 10, no need for third-party antivirus
Windows 10 has its own antivirus, Windows Defender, which is quite sufficient
and let Windows Defender take over, just as effective and less resource-hungry
to uninstall " Norton " download " REVO UNINSTALLER "

I just want to know if I can delete the N360_BACKUP folder containing the file I've mentioned.
Since you've copied/saved your data/files to an external HDD, you can delete it
If you have any questions...

Hi
Is your PC running W10?
Was Norton pre-installed on the PC?
I saw in a discussion that you could delete this file, but I had actually asked the technician to remove it because I didn't want to pay for the subscription
Are you talking about the editing software?
See you later

Hello and thank you both,
So, I downloaded the software but apparently, it has been successfully deleted by the IT technician.
I just want to know if I can delete the N360_BACKUP folder containing the file I mentioned.
Could that improve the computer's performance and reduce the overheating caused by using the editing software?
Thank you

Yes, delete it, it's a NORTON backup just for
To diagnose the PC:
Download and run FRST 64
The SmartScreen filter may trigger an alert. Click on Actions or More Information and then on Run anyway
Close all applications, including the browser
Launch the program FRST.exe
It must be launched by right-clicking -> Run as administrator
Wait until it indicates The tool is ready to work
Click on the Scan button.
Wait for the scan to finish, a message will indicate that the scan is complete.
At the end of the scan, the reports FRST.txt and Addition.txt are created.
The reports are saved in the same location as the software FRST 64
Send each of the reports: Here
Each time a link leading to these reports will be provided.
Give both links so we can read the reports
Simply right-click on the link provided by pjjoint and then “Copy link address”.
Then right-click and paste the links in your next message.
