Hello,
I ordered a blanket from an online decoration store on January 15th and to this day it hasn't been delivered yet! According to customer service, deliveries are slowed down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which leaves me a bit perplexed, I must admit.
So in practice, are deliveries really running slowly or is this site just messing with me?

    The .fr extension does not guarantee that the site is located in France (See below..).

    Site registered in the UK but the Management resides in Algeria.. Probably a drop shipping site with (As usual..) a mailbox located in GB.. UK address intended to reassure Customers..

    So French Law does not apply.. But you can try to request a refund amicably..

    The present terms of the site https://toplaid.fr/ are governed by English law and any disputes or litigations that may arise from the interpretation or execution of these will be the exclusive competence of the courts to which the company's registered office belongs. The language of reference for the resolution of any disputes is English.

    That's the excuse often given by online shops run by individuals who do dropshipping and sell products coming from China, hence the delays. What site did you order from?

    In practice, we don't know anything because we don't know the seller.

    Otherwise, you can/could cancel the sale (if desired) by using Articles L216-1, 216-6 and -7 of the Consumer Code. Act by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, cite the relevant articles, and demand a refund within 14 days.

    Oh really! Yet I have already bought before and the delivery went well in about 10 days, the product arrived. The site is toplaid.com
    I will wait another week and then I will request a refund.

      The site https://toplaid.fr/ is quite anonymous, it has been around for less than a year, see https://whois.domaintools.com/toplaid.fr
      The next time you order from an unknown site, come to the forum to ask for an opinion before placing your order.

        I read the comments about myplaid and I don't believe that toplaid are scammers? I have ordered in the past and received my product quite quickly? Moreover, the customer service was very responsive and always polite.

    Hello everyone,
    I want to inform you that this morning I received my package and I even received a second product as compensation. Yay!!!!!
    In the end, they were right and it was just a small delivery delay. Anyway, thank you all for your responses.
