Nintendo Switch not working in TV mode

Hello,

I currently have a Nintendo Switch that is giving me a lot of problems. To put it simply, when I use it in TV mode with its dock on my LG 4K TV in the bedroom, it works without issues. However, when I set it up in the living room on my Samsung 4K TV, it displays for 3-4 seconds, then cuts off intermittently and disconnects by shutting down. I've tried all the HDMI ports, and I even changed the cable (they all work fine upstairs but not downstairs). The HDMI ports on the Samsung TV work with the Apple TV and the PS5.

Has anyone else encountered this type of bug?

Attached is a screenshot.

Thank you.

    Hello,

I have the same case with a teenager in my circle... I tried to fix things and did a lot of reading.

-- The HDMI 2 or 2.1 cable is a minimum requirement to give yourself a chance
-- Depending on the TV models, it works or it doesn't... The signals coming from the Nintendo are not exactly like those of the TV... and some TVs pick up, others don't..??
-- In the same vein, there seems to be a bug that should be fixed... But when..? So keep an eye on the versions.
Automatic updates are not a guarantee..
-- The problem seems to stem from the "Dock"... There isn't much in there, though...??

I've looked into all this... but the problem still exists.. and to pinpoint it, it certainly requires a lot of time and observations while taking notes..

I tried on several TVs, Samsung doesn't pick up the signal. LG does, another unknown brand does.

      It's hard to understand...
