Canon printer error 1259

Hello, I have a Canon printer that shows error 1259. It asks me to remove the paper tray, which I do, but I still get the same error. Can you help me? Thank you.

    For having looked in the wrong place, it is the output paper tray that needs to be removed as far away as possible and not the input paper tray....

      Thank you, I had been stuck on this puzzle for 30 minutes and you just saved my day (the other advice was to reinstall the printer but I no longer had the CDs).
